    Could the magnus rotor have an effect if placed on back of Simi trailer, the air of the truck moving down highway directed at rotor maybe help with fuel savings with the push provided ? Coldwarkid1@Yahoo.com

      No, the Magnus rotor uses the natural wind, rather than the relative motion with the air when the vehicle is moving. The drag of the rotor will make the car consume more energy.
